I agree with you. I think those people who claim to not break the rules just have enough money to pay their way around it. They don't double park because they are ready to spend $10 on parking, etc. REAL New Yawkers know how it's done. I know one very wealthy family when told that the local fire house would not allow a tour for their sons birthday, even though they were willing to pay huge for it, called up the fire commissioners grand daughters and got strings pulled. That is breaking the rules. But it happens all the time. [ Reply | More

cops are always getting off tickets, parking at hydrants with their special I'm a cop windsheild sign. I am not saying breaking the LAW I am saying breaking the rules. Although the original post on School zone choices may in fact fall under "the law" [ Reply | More
