not sure if you're breastfeeding, but if so, sounds like she's hungry. I can't remember if I was still feeding my baby every two hours or three hours at 10 weeks. something that worked well for me was cluster feeding at night, so every two hours at 7pm,9pm and 11pm and then go to bed myself. Then my baby slept until 6am which was nice. Good luck... [ Reply | More ]

sorry, but it's just totally unrealistic to expect a 10 week old to "usually' do anything. she is still getting used to the fact that she's on the outside. wait 2 days. what she "usually" does will change again. gl! [ Reply | More ]

I completely disagree. My DS and DD both slept 6 hour stretches at night by age 2 weeks, and they were both breastfed. I think by 10 weeks there should DEFINITELY be some sort of routine in place! [ Reply | More ]

Considering it happened with both my kids, I consider it more than luck--consistency and patience are key! [ Reply | More ]

nnp;you can't say it's not normal just because you don't have experience with this. My kids did this too and both were sleeping 12 hrs by 8wks [ Reply | More ]

Don't mean to sound so obvious, I imagine youve done all the satndard things? Make sure nothing is wrong in the room - it happened to us when our child was around that age. I won't tell you what the something was, but all was not right in the room and he knew it. [ Reply | More ]
