Posted last week that I couldn't get into "The Yiddish Policeman's Union". Have to retract that, since as soon as Berko entered the picture, I was hooked. It's one of those books where I miss the characters days after finishing it. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

OP: It took me about 50 pages to get into it. Once I reallized there was a Yiddish glossary in the back, it helped. Sounds like that wasn't a problem for you, though. [ Reply | More
