Starting the process of using a donor egg. Have to go for all sort of tests, ie HIV, Hepatitis B and C, etc...why am I nervous about these??? My dh and I have no real long history of promiscuity but nonetheless...it makes me panicky. Anyone btdt? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Those tests are very scary, you start thinking of dentist offices and all sorts of crazy shit. My DH and I are both cops, we have both come across needles, blood and tons of diseases, I still can't believe one of us hasn't got TB or Hepatitis. It's normal to fear those tests, because what if you are, it changes everything. But that said, I was fine, I'm sure you are. [ Reply | More
