would you start taking the pill to delay the onset of your period if it coincided with your 10 yr anniversary? we planned a nice wkend away, first time leaving dcs. i called my gyn but haven't heard back. TIA. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I was on the pill for several years, but I'm not crazy about the idea of pumping hormones into my body. I might do it for my wedding, but I can't imagine any other circumstances when I would do it. [ Reply | More

Ask doctor I suppose, but I think that it may be too much of a pita. You never know how you're going to respond to various types of bc. My sis does horribly on some, but not other. If the doc gives you the ok, I would insist on the one you took before, b/c that way you know that there probably won't be a problem going on it. [ Reply | More
