just got nuchal test results - 1/8 chance of downs. i am so sad and took the cvs...any chance that dc won't have downs? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

it is the worst..the waiting game. how old are you? i was 27 yrs old at the time. you really have to realize how lucky you are to have found out, either way, this early. My dad said to me, either way, either result, is a good thing. Was it from the blood test part of it? or did they see something on ultrasound? [ Reply | More

well you should know soon, my CVS results were back within 24 hours for the main five genentic testing. I was told by my age (39) and family history (Down's on both sidesI had a 1/42 chance. That said, I skipped the Nuchal Tests and went for the CVS because that is 100% accurate, I wanted to be prepared. [ Reply | More
