Have 5 yo dd, 3 yo ds and newborn and feel like I am yelling at my children because I am getting really frustrated, am tired, etc. I don;t like the way I am handling situations and could use some suggestions on other approaches -- any recs for good parenting books? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I had to do the walk away for a minute and then respond. I have two DS with 18 month age difference and they kill each other. I realized that i was losing perspective that this is a growing-up boy thing (for some boys) and when I trained myself to take a walk for a second before responding, I made everyone happier.
