did you know that you can pop popcorn in the microwave without the fancy bag? All you have to do is put in in a bowl and cover. I'm addicted to curry popcorn right now, it is so tasty. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I've been adding about a tbs. of olive oil, but it's not necessary. Just put it in on the pop setting, although I find it needs to go a minute or two over to get everything popped. [ Reply | More ]

then put it in for four minutes and pull it out when the pops are only one per second, ie when it really slows down. [ Reply | More ]

I have a splatter cover to use in my microwave, but I would imagine a plate would work fine as well. I use a glass mixing bowl, but ceramic should work too. [ Reply | More ]
