When I was younger, in college and until I met DH at 26, I had a certain something. I'm not beautiful, but smart and funny and never didn't get the guy (I was sort of what would be "indie" now, but was just out of it then). Now that I've been with DH for 12 years, I miss those days of exciting first kisses and everything. Anyone with me? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I've been with dh for 16 yrs and I see what you are saying but I don't miss the what comes after the first kiss (drama)..but I do know what you mean. I find when dh get a little alone time (maybe an over night away) I feel like it's a first kiss again [ Reply | More

yes we just went away to CT for 2 nights and it was like we were dating again. I think since we don't get time alone (2 kids and pg again) we really made the best out of the alone time. DH was giddy..he was holding my hand, walking with his arm around me, ect. I really felt like we did at the beginning. We talked, laughed, sat in silence but just would glance at each other.
