4mos BF DS all of a sudden started refusing all bottles and pacifiers. He used to switch with no problem, now it's mommy on-tap or nada. This is becoming a major problem bc I can't leave him with anyone for more than 2 hrs. What happened? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

He's gotten fussy. That said, it's okay for you to leave him more than 2 hours. Same thing happened to me and my dc. Ped said dc would eat if hungry, won't starve if dc went on strike for a few hours and it would not harm dc. [ Reply | More ]

he's getting smarter! Here is the thing.....he needs to get a bottle every 2 days from someone who is *not* you. And you need to leave the house while this is happening until db gets back on track. He may never love the bottle, but you need to do this for your sanity. [ Reply | More ]

op: tell me about it. I left him with MIL and he cried on/off for 4 hrs while I got my hair done and didn't eat until I got home. MIL almost had a break down and is hesitant to sit again. DH has tried to give a bottle, even bought 5 different nipples to try, with no success. [ Reply | More ]
