Worth a try. What are you trying to change? [ Reply | More ]

What do you want them to do for you? [ Reply | More ]

I would not expect it. They were pretty adamant about no wait lists, and if they make an exception once, they'll have to do it for everyone. [ Reply | More ]

I have heard of nothing, but if you feel strongly about getting a different placement I encourage you to lobby for it--what do you have to lose? [ Reply | More ]

you can try and you might have success if you are looking for a less popular G&T program. [ Reply | More ]

ITA, once again there are some seriously underenrolled programs. So if you are not looking for Anderson or top district programs it's worth a shot. [ Reply | More ]

I for one would love an underenrolled program. would rather have 15 or so kids, or even 20, than 25. [ Reply | More ]

I know of some siblings who didn't make the score who are holding out hope for citywides. Not sure if the DOE or the schools gave them that hope, but they aren't proceeding like its a done deal. [ Reply | More ]

So not happening, DOE can't afford such outcry considering how many kids made the cutoff and did not get citywide (or in some cases any) placement. They should spend the time with heavy tutoring instead and try again for first grade. [ Reply | More ]
