when do you stop using the baby bathtub? 12 month old seems like he'd be fine in regular bathtub, but what are the do's and don'ts? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

There is a great tub from one step ahead or babies or us - it's a blow up one, fits in your tub and gives them freedom, but not too much. Is bigger than a baby tub, but not too big. 12 months is a good time to switch. GL! [ Reply | More

buy a tub ring. Perfect for a 12 month old. I still would never leave child alone in a bath tub ever, and tub ring may give you false sense of confidence, but it will allow you to use your whole tub and reach for the shampoo, towel, etc. [ Reply | More

My dd outgrew baby tub after 4-5 mos. Got one of those bath sponge things for her to lay on in the big tub. Now she's 7 mos & sitting in there unassisted (but with one of my hands always on her just in case). She loves to splash in the water & hold the bath toys. [ Reply | More
