question - dd is almost 11 weeks old; she smiles but does not make a lot of noises. ped said she expects dcs at this age to make more sounds. am worried that something might be wrong but i also know each dc develops differently. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Try not to worry. Its a useless emotion. It just zaps you of energy that could be used for other things. Worrying does nothing. Use your time better. If you are the type, go to the library and get some books on development, observe other babies, talk to other moms. Or, just hang out for a while and tell yourself that you will deal with this again on August 1st and enjoy the month. good luck! [ Reply | More
