What is the best school district in lower westchester for a moderately affluent black family (budget 800k to $1.2m) in lower Westchester? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Mamaroneck,Rye Neck,Ardsley,Hastings, Doobs Ferry and Irvington. If it were a more affluent family I will also suggest Scarsdale. These school district are reasonably diverse, but if you want a very diverse school district I will suggest New Rochelle (Ward and Davis elementary schools). [ Reply | More

I was asking for a friend, I had the same schools in mind including Scarsdale since it has the same proportion of black students as the other school districts you mentioned but wanted to get other people's opnions. Scarsdale homes start at about $650k so I think there budget can get them a home there easily. [ Reply | More
