My bad habit is always answering with "No" initially to anything and I had to re-train myself and my responses. Once I saw it and that it was unfait to my DH, I did it and it's made a diff for us. Now that you see the drinking leads to stupid fights, can you just stop ? Or is the drinking a problem in and of itself ? [ Reply | More

I think it is a small problem but focusing on not drinking, and instead, go workout at night will help keep me away from it all together. When I get bored, I like to drink, which then causes problems. But stopping is the only way I will avoid stupid fights. [ Reply | More

A gf of mine didn't go to AA, she does something called "sensible sobriety" or something like that. She drinks, but controls it. I don't know aything about it but she swears by it. [ Reply | More
