even though I knew I was having a boy, I picked a really cute safari theme bedding, it could easily be boy/girl. Or how about just something like dots and ginham - you can mix match lavender/pink/blue/green/yellow, etc [ Reply | More ]

my children aren't twins, but I have a boy and a girl who share a room. The walls are yellow, the bedding is light green and yellow, the furnature is natural wood. [ Reply | More ]

Our dd's room is mostly white and green. Bedding is white, yellow, and green hand-me-downs. [ Reply | More ]

Warm Biscuit Bedding Co has some very cute stuff--especially if you like a vintage/retro look. http://warmbiscuit.com/picnicnursery.html [ Reply | More ]

it really matters so little. pick a color you like and stay away from major themes, imho. you can get more into the theme thing when your dcs are old enough to enjoy it. congrats and gl! [ Reply | More ]

That is wonderful! I am of the school of thought that they grow out of the baby stage so quickly so I didn't do DD's room too baby or with any theme. I would find a gender neutral rug and take then find bedding. I have an adult rug in DD's room and I put my $ into a nice dresser and got a cheap but safe crib. So I basically wasted no $ on the nursery stuff. Some color options - I think you can do light blue and red or neutrals (tan, cream - see the Safari stuff at Pottery Barn). You can mix and match bedding so they are similar but different. By the way, JLo's boy/girl nursery had two cribs with cream bedding and a chairs and a neutralish patterned rug. They have great basics at baby bedding.com. [ Reply | More ]
