my 3.5yo son had a fever of 102.1 last night and no appetite for dinner. he woke with fever of 102.2, still no appetite and says his eyes hurt. No other symptoms. Play doctor ... what's going on? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

if it continues for a total of 24 hours, i'd call the doc. otherwise, just give tylenol for the fever and wait it out. likely a virus, but over 24 hours, i'd call the doc. [ Reply | More

both of mine just had a virus (and now i have it) 36-48 hours of high fever, horrible sore throat, body aches, no appetite. the fever went away first, other symptoms lingered. kids tested negative for strep. doc said just a virus. [ Reply | More
