They made offers to 54 kids. usually 25 in each class (2 classes in each grade). I think there are 4 new spots for 1st grade plus any attrition. They also accept kids for middle school. Not sure how many though. [ Reply | More ]

To answer the middle school question, it depends on how many kids decide to move somewhere else or stay put. I believe that they all reapply, but are pretty much a given in most cases. Some choose to change to experience a new peer group. [ Reply | More ]

Very few leave for middle school any more. There were 10 spots this year, so not a huge intake at all. used to be a lot more when MS was brand new. [ Reply | More ]

Delta is a lot bigger, so has more class offerings, bigger social scene and all kids are brand new so allows new start socially for kids that want/need that. [ Reply | More ]

or: Thanks. I need to go back through the paperwork and look for the PTA contact person and send an email. Do you happen to remember who sent the email? I got the original welcome email from Donna mentioning the picnic and cocktail party, but nothing more after that. [ Reply | More ]

or: Well, they said that a class list would be coming soon so I would like to know about that if an email is sent. Also, I just want to stay in touch and tuned in for anything. I know that Anderson's PTA is VERY active and involved so there may be emails over the summer. Is that so wrong? [ Reply | More ]

she is waiting for the class list to be able to claim the class parent spot. OP, don't fear, they'll be just as happy to have 8 of them. And PTA is not going to turn down any volunteers. Solicit some donations for the auction over the summer and they'll love you. [ Reply | More ]

455. and believe it or not, some of them weren't white! and there were none of those scummy divergent thinkers, because this year they used only scores, guaranteeing that every single dc admitted is brilliant!!! and won't be sullied by anyone who didn't score a 99 and is therefore a retard!!!!!
