my great friend has a dd that is just not nice to my dd, and even when she is fine, my dd is just overwhelmed by her, i hate putting my dd in social situations with her and am constantly finding excuses for avoiding friends company - we share a lot of mutual friends and it is getting hard to do. she knows how i feel to some extent but I can't imagine she realizes just how bad it is for me and for my dd. what should i do? That sucks. Hopefully, her dd will calm down over time. Fwiw our 8.5 yo ds is so much more calm than he was even 2 yrs ago. Otherwise, unfortunately, it may lead to your friendship fizzling out. [ Reply | More
