np: db doesn't have to be drinking straight up cow's milk to discover a db has a milk allergy. You can discover from rxn to formula or breastmilk (if mom is taking in dairy) or any other dairy products such as casein or whey. [ Reply | More

my niece had a milk allergy at that age. she was on soy formula, avoided all casein, whey, dairy products. it was hard on my SIL especially since her older dd had no allergy and was a milk fiend. [ Reply | More

my #1 didn't. Nothing but mom until she was like 15 months old. Anyway, I didn't think that much of the dairy stuff gets through the mother's milk? [ Reply | More
