I wonder if anyone can offer advice: DH cannot seem to stop "keeping track" of time spent with dd (now 2.5). I have said, very nicely, several times in the last fews weeks that it's not productive and that I'm just as committed as he is to both spending time w/dd and making sure the other person gets time off. He did it again this morning ("I just spent an hour with her, now it's your turn") instead of just saying hey, I need to make a phone call now so can you take her. How do I deal with this? I really don't want to fight about it but it's so destructive (we did fight this am). [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

It's just how he measures time and not a big deal. [ Reply | More ]

make a big chart and hang it on the wall and color code time spent with her for you and him. he'll get the message in about a day. [ Reply | More ]

lol--I should. I felt like saying him today "but did you get up with her for an hour in the middle of the night last night when she had a bad dream?" [ Reply | More ]
