Three year old has become very shy around new people. He doesn't like to talk a lot unless it's just me and him. He sometimes has trouble with pushing other kids and hits me when frustrated. problem or normal? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Normal phase, but pushing other children and hitting you are unacceptable. Gently redirect. Also schedule short playdates with children you think he will get along with to build his social confidence. [ Reply | More
