I'm struggling with taking my dd out of her private daycare (homebased, Montessori) and enrolling her in an ACD funded daycare (nearer to home and 1/3 the cost even as a private, non-subsized family). We just can't afford the other place - only reason we are leaving and I feel bad about it but given the economy and our expenses it just seems dumb to keep paying so much money. Any advise? She will be okay--you're not sending her to a dangerous or sketchy place. And you're doing something fiscally prudent for the family, which is also good for dd. [ Reply | More
