Avoid Nassau county. The inclusion model is failing miserably there. The second teacher in the classroom to assist with the special needs children often doesn't have special education certifications. SN children find themselves with two teachers, neither of whom have access to the IEP, and neither of whom are trained in Special Ed. [ Reply | More
