Anyone have a dermoid cyst (ovarian)? Repost, but I'm trying to make myself feel better. Scares the crap outta me and I have to wait til Monday to hear Drs opinion. Originally, he said I could leave it there, they;re "rarely" cancerous. I'm thinking take it out. How scared should I be? I literally have GI issues from the anxiety. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

you have a valid reason to be afraid, that said it's just a cyst. you have the power to make the decision to remove it or leave it. sometimes the body will take care of it on it's own. [ Reply | More

Listen to your doctor, he said "rarely" I'd go with that for now, you can't make any decisions until he see's it so please try to relax and stop getting yourself all worked up, it's probably nothing and right now there is nothing you can do. Distract yourself, go to the movies, have a few drinks, call some friends up. [ Reply | More
