Starting Rodeph Sholom K in the fall. Went back and forth for a while trying to decide between a TT and the Jewish education and finally rested on Rodeph. Now feeling very happy and SAFE that my child will be at such a nurturing and community-focussed school. [ Reply | More ]

Very well intentioned vigorous principal focussed on lifting up the disadvantaged children who make up most of the school. If you have an academically inclined child, he/she will quickly outgrow the slow pace of learning. If not, you might be okay at least for awhile. Bright kids can be very non-academic, so you have to know your kid. [ Reply | More ]
