Don't carry on too much - lugging stuff around the airport is a major pain. Diaper supplies + a few new toys and books in the diaper bag and any food in a separate bag. Have any bottles of milk ready to pull out to show to the security personnel. [ Reply | More ]

lots of stickers, mini magnadoodle, lots of snacks, and most importantly a dvd player [ Reply | More ]

^^My 14 mo eats stickers. A DVD player's only really useful if DB watches TV at home--at least that's been my experience. [ Reply | More ]

I have to fly next week w/my 14 mo. She's never played with stickers so don't know how that would work and she doesn't watch tv so I agree with you. I'm bringing flip up books which she loves, lots of cheerios and I know there will be walking up and down the aisle. [ Reply | More ]

do not rely on walking up and down the plane. The last few small planes we travelled on kept the seat belt sign on all the way. If it is a long flight why not try a dvd [ Reply | More ]

If you possibly can, bring a portable dvd player or a computer that will play videos. it might keep them occupied for a few minutes. Definitely bring a change of clothes and extra diapers and tons of snacks and prepare yourself for a really long time. [ Reply | More ]
