I love both names. I have know of a few Claras born recently, but don't know about Hazel. I think you can't go wrong with either. Wait until dd is born and see if she is a Clara or Hazel. [ Reply | More

FWIW, my DD's name is Cecelia and everyone seems to love it. I don't hear the name a lot, but I do hear the song. I don't like alliterative names, so I would go with Hazel. It's a little retro-trendy, but not greatly so. If you love the name, run with it. [ Reply | More
