it was the most romantic and sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me - we grew up together and used to go out every night in the summer catching fireflies in old skippy jars and such, he took me to the park one night to go for a walk which was nthing out of the norm and there were fireflies out so we started catching them like when we were kids and then he came over to me with his hands together and said you have to see this one babe and he got down on one knee and i still didnt think anything of it, then he opened his hands and there was my ring and he said the most heartfelt words and i ended up blubbering like an idiot then i jumped onto him and gave him a hug and of course said yes!! he and i were both unable to get off work on thanksgiving and missed seeing our families - little did i know, he actually had the day off and spent it making me dinner. he brought out the pumpkin pie (my favorite) and the ring was on top [ Reply | More

he slipped the ring on my finger when i was sleeping then he snuck out early to make a huge romantic breakfast and dressed himself up and waited until i woke up and came down to question it - funny thing though is that i didnt notice the ring for awhile then i did and SCREAMED and ran down the stairs [ Reply | More
