Anyone's kid ever have Cocksackie Virus or Hand, Foot and Mouth? Ped says it's going around and that 18mo dd is pretty much over it, but I looked it up and am pretty grossed out! Also, DH and I have had sore throats now for 3 days, and I have also had Diarrhea for 2 days... Blech! Ped says we didn't get anything from her, but I can't believe that... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

all 3 of us have had some stomach thing (pretty mild) with a head ache etc. DD had a fever one night but none of us have been sick enough to really lay around. Just sick enough to be cranky. fun [ Reply | More ]

I'm trying to remember but I don't think grownups get this. Mine never got this either but I have friends that kids did and from what I understand its very painful. Also I think its always going around! [ Reply | More ]

op: thanks both of you! This all coincided with her getting in four molars this weekend - so that was SUPER fun! I read that if pregnant women get this, it is dangerous - maybe it goes by a different name, but it think it is definitely related... I guess it was actually a pretyt mild case, b/c she was a little cranky and wouldn't eat at all and had a high-ish fever for a few days in a row, but didn't seem in too much actual pain. Dr. said saw red blisters (as opposed to white) in back of throat, which meant was healing. [ Reply | More ]
