At what temperature do you give dc medicine for fever? 2 yr. old is at 101. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I'd give tylenol for that, especially to help him/her sleep, and motrin for anything over 102. 101 is pretty high, it could keep going up. [ Reply | More ]

i never take temperature. i give tylenol or motrin if i see the fever is affecting them. like if they are lethargic or uncomfortable. [ Reply | More ]

you give dc medicine for fever now, to keep it down. you don't want the child to spike a fever. unlikely that this would happen, but when temps rise rapidly dc's can have febrile seizures. they're not serious, but scary. [ Reply | More ]
