Ugh. 4 mo. needs to nap, but he just lays in his crib whining. Not crying, just trying to get me to pick him up. If I go in to soothe him, he smiles and acts all cute. What to do.......? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

whining is not crying, don't go in. i know it's hard but he's learning to manipulate you. [ Reply | More ]

I don't think you are supposed to cio until 5 or 6 months, but I think I would try it with ds, if you search cio, you will find a ton of advice [ Reply | More ]

op: oh, god, i would never let him cio. not even in another month or so. i can't fathom letting my son cry for a long time. that is just cruel. i was just a little worried b.c. he sometimes doesn't sleep enough. like, in a 24 hr period, he's only been sleeping 12 hours sometimes. But he's happy enough, so maybe he's just not a big sleeper. who the heck knows. [ Reply | More ]
