Patience. My 13 mo still doesn't sleep through the night reliably. I nurse her if she can't settle herself back down on her own. CIO worked with DB #1--it was frustrating that it won't work with #2. [ Reply | More

HOnestly, we stopped stressing about it and let them figure it out for themselves. When they wake up we go in and settle them. We sleep with them. They come in with us. For us, the worst part was the self-recrimination about being bad parents and being incapable. Now it is what it is and we're all happier. [ Reply | More
