My friend told me how his wife had a pregnancy scare. She was on the pill, switched to a new brand, never got her period while on the old pill. It sounds like there were a few days in between switching pills. She took a preg test and it was negative. I told my friend that it could be a false positive and that it is unusual not to get your period while on the pill. I urged him to tell his wife to take another test but I don't think she has taken another one. Has anyone NOT gotten their period while on the pill? I am concerned for my friends because she is still taking the new pill but I think she might be pregnant. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I haven't, but that does't mean it couldn't happen. I don't think that the pill will harm the baby. If she took it a couple days after her period is due, I think it is unlikely it was a false negative. [ Reply | More
