We're staying in the city with our 3 yo and 1 yo this weekend. What should we do--beyond the fireworks, I mean. So many of our regular activities--storytimes, etc.--are canceled. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

They really won't notice either way, I remind myself that in 20 yrs my dc will not be at a shrink's office saying 'mommy didn't entertain me 24/7 and she took me to the same museum all the time!!' [ Reply | More

a one year old will not be able to tell that it was at the NHM last week. FWIW did not know dc was 1 when I suggested he/she sit quietly. [ Reply | More
