Would you buy a house in a nice neighborhood if it were in between 2 houses with dogs? One house has a fence, the other has invisible fence up. It's a new community so there isn't a lot of foliage for privacy (but we could plant, put up our own fence). Coming from NYC so used to noise... [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

If you hate dogs, don't pick that house. [ Reply | More ]

What is an invisible fence? It depends on the type of dogs. We had neighbors, when I was growing up, who had two huge doberman pinchers. They hopped a rather large fence to chase me. I wouldn't want to live next to those dogs again. [ Reply | More ]

Well....you can't really have much say about the pets around you, but if they were large (loud) dogs that spent a lot of time outside, it would give me pause. My parents' neighbors have dogs and they bark so much that my parents never have their windows open. I would hate that. [ Reply | More ]

if they were loud and outside a lot I may not like that. I just think of the big dogs getting onto my property and I have small kids [ Reply | More ]
