Please bear with me and offer advice. Poor DD dropped a kitchen appliance on her big toe today. (She pulled it down off the shelf, but totally learned her lesson..."WHY? WHY? WHY DID I DO THAT???...I DON'T KNOW WHY I DID THAT!!!" she was sobbing to herself. She's on the couch with her foot propped up and watching TV (for the last hour and a half now) but it's still bleeding a little. My question is: should I give her a quick shower before bed? She was swimming today in camp and reeks of chlorine from the pool. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

no, she was just in pain. but I felt so terrible hearing her say that. anyhow, we decided to do the shower (she said she wanted to) and I think she feels better now. I had given her tylenol, which kicked in. she has a mean bruise under her toenail, but thankfully, nothing is broken. [ Reply | More
