A doctor can prescribe a type of bandage that will reduce scaring. Or you can try the OTC scar pads. [ Reply | More

Are you going to a PT or a specialist for wound care? Or will you be treating at home? If the later, discuss your concerns with the doctor. Botox can reduce scaring (less pulling on the sutures). The sheeting does work. [ Reply | More
