Went out to dinner last night with DH and man who may be doing business with DH. He is a sports star (NFL running back, Superbowl, etc) and in the course of dinner he used the "n-word". he is a black man. I was shocked and he said, "Let's be real. It exists," and I sort of let the whole thing just go away. It doesn't exist in my home, with DH or DC, etc and now I'm not sure exactly why he needed to use the word in conversation at all. Ideas ? I'm in a cop, I hear it all the time with other officers, who are black to each other, and of corse perps use it every other word, no matter who they are talking to. I would guess your white. I don't think anyone with any class would use that word, I don't care what race you are. But yes it exists, and I would imagine the NFL is not exempt. [ Reply | More
