Any recommendations for hypnobirthing classes in NYC? - I saw Ms. Fox (birthingwithhypnosis.com) and Kathryn Beck (imaginehealthandwellness.com) [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

No recommendations but my friend who tried hypnobirthing said it was good up to a point and then it still hurt like hell. [ Reply | More ]

Yeah - I have no illusions, but figure any little bit helps. Want to go natural, but my husband s*cks in a crisis so that kind of rules out Bradley and that stuff were you need a coach. [ Reply | More ]

GL and I hope you find something that works for you. I was fine going natural until no one could tell me how long it was going to go on for. If they had said one more hour I might have been able to cope but just thinking that it might go on forever made me give in and have an epidural. My friend with the natural birth said it was very painful but that she would do it that way again. [ Reply | More ]
