College sitter was sort of in an accident last night on her time off (her car). A pickup truck strayed across the road and clipped off her driver's mirror, didn't stop. I'm so grateful she wasn't hurt. But now I'm concerned about letting her drive the kids, even though it's unfair since this wasn't her fault. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

its understandable to have that feeling, but since you recognize its unfair, you presumably won't act on it. which is fair to her. [ Reply | More ]

We just moved to the suburbs, and I love everything except the cars. People are such shitty drivers, this was like my worst fear - she came within a foot of a head-on collision. [ Reply | More ]

You need to let this go - it wasn't her fault, nothing she could have done would have prevented it from happening. If the same had happened to you, would you never drive your kids around? [ Reply | More ]

See above - I am new to driving so much and frankly nervous when I drive too. [ Reply | More ]
