OBGYN ettiquette q: is it inappropriate to send an email to the OBGYN who delivered my db several years ago (not my doc, on call) saying I would like to switch to him b/c I'm trying to get pg (asst said he only takes switches if you're pg, but we're going to be out of the country for 6 months while we try)? He has his email posted on the hospital website and encourages patients to write w/qs. But do I count? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I would go ahead and email. If he posts his email, he must not mind. The worst he'll say is to call back when you're pregnant. [ Reply | More ]

thanks. I feel kind of like the crazy lady who's all "You delivered my baby and they won't let me talk to you!" I've thought of switching ever since i had db two years ago, but I guess I wouldn't have been able to earlier, either. [ Reply | More ]
