To the 46yo considering conceiving, go for it. My dh's parents were about your age when they had him. His father died when he was 13, traumatic, but the thing is...you are giving another person life. This is the only life my dh knows, and if they had tried any earlier, the baby wouldn't be him, it would be someone else. Best of luck to you. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

np; I was on earlier when she first posted and didn't get any sense of selfishness or entitlement from this 46yr old. It was the ppl who were responding that were calling her these names. I think she should go for it [ Reply | More

nnp: you can have parents who are young and boring or older and exciting. My parents were 23yr old when I was born and my mom was a home body. Never did anything with us. She was an old lady in a young body. THen I know ppl whose parents were older but did so much with them. So age means SQUAT in my book [ Reply | More
