long car trip with three children in car seats. better to have a minivan for more space or better to have a sedan so that the adult in front can pass things to all the kids. (is there a sedan that can fit three car seats or two booster seats with a car seat?). [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

we own a minivan. thinking of renting a sedan if it'll be easier and i figure the difference in gas prices will offset the rental fee. i guess we should just stick with what we have. but i'm just thinking of my poor 2yo, stuck in the back row for a couple of hours and i can't even pass her a snack. Minivans have cup holders. In an "emergency" you unstrap your seat belt and crawl in the back. Or you sit in the middle and one kid each in middle or third row. [ Reply | More
