I'd call your OB, just to check in. Generally it's bleeding with cramping that's a bad sign--not bleeding on its own. Good luck. [ Reply | More

Sh'es 100% right. Sit down, try to calm yourself, and wait for your OB to get back in touch with you. He or she will ask how long this has been going on, how much blood, etc. Good luck. [ Reply | More

sorry, but the cramping with the bleeding doesn't sound good. that being said, it's not a miscarriage until it's a miscarriage. i really wish you a lot of luck. please let us know what happens. [ Reply | More

NP: There's always a chance. If you're bleeding a lot and still can't get in touch with OB, you can go to the ER, but I've BTDT and it's an ordeal. [ Reply | More

It is cause for concern, but it happens to many people that end up fine. According to the written directions from my ob, if it is red blood, go to bed immediately, drink lots of water, and try to get them on the phone. I personally would go to the ER, if they don't call back soon, just for my own piece of mind. And sometime there are things they can do to stop a miscarriage, especially if the bleeding is just from low progesterone, ect. [ Reply | More
