ok i'm not a mom yet but i'm engaged to a man with a toddler. But I've known the toddler since he found out he was going to be a father-- basically he slept with his ex while we were dating and ended up with a child. We stuck it out. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

HA. Ok I f'd that one up! Sorry. Bottom line is I'm 25, he's 32. I've met someone else and we're engaged. Aside from the the slip up with his ex he is perfect and I'm cheating on him. We we need counseling and we're not even married yet. If he's perfect, should I stick it out? Or does the fact that I've already screwed up mean we're destined for failure? [ Reply | More

if you're having problems staying faithful before you're married, there is probably an issue there. Perhaps you're not really ready to commit or perhaps your not really ready to commit to him. I cheated on someone I was engaged to (not my DH) and it was my way of getting out of a relationship with someone I didn't really want to marry. It wasn't the best approach on my part - in the end, I just should have broken up with him. [ Reply | More

then there is your answer, you need to get out. There is no reason to be doing this at 25. Getting divorced sucks and is expensive, I seriously doubt you two are going to last long enough to make it worthwhile. [ Reply | More
