My nephew is a high functioning autistic 7 y/o child. H recently had an eeg which showed abnormalities in the lobes that govern speech, short term memory and grasp of certain concepts. My brother and his wife are going ahead with bio feedback. Has anyone any experience with this? tia! [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

I think they call it neurofeedback now. My friend is bringing her son for treatment of ADHD. I was skeptical but a recent article in NY Times says that there may be some validity to this. [ Reply | More ]

We used Play Attention with our adhd/language processing ds. He did it for a year. Definitely noticed improvements, but hard to say if it was Play Attention or a combination of things (SN school with therapies, etc.) [ Reply | More ]
