The whole nanny thing is simple. If you want someone who cares for your dcs, if you want someone who you don't have to complain about, you have to pay them properly for the very important job they do. If you don't want to pay them adequately then you have a babysitter. Reconcile you needs and your abilities. [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Well isn't that interesting. This term 'nanny is actually reserved for professionally trained nannies. Women in NYC throw the term around because it makes them feel as if they are upwardly mobile, but the truth is unless you find and adequately pat a real nany a nannies salary you are getting a babysitter, and if so then so be it.
