My 5 yo niece just broke her leg and will be in a cast for (probably) the rest of the summer. Need gift suggestions for her--something fun she can do inside. She's not into the princess scene. Any ideas? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

Thanks. I'd rather get her one biggish gift than a lot of little ones. I got her a jewelry making kit for Christmas. Any other ideas? [ Reply | More ]

There are video games that hook up to the tv. You could get the main system and a bunch of educational games. [ Reply | More ]

Fimo or sculpey clay so she can make things for the dollhouse you get her to go along with it (this was the gift I got when I was ill for an entire summer at age 6) [ Reply | More ]

I'd love to do this, but she has her mom's dollhouse from when she was little....maybe I'll ask her mom about new furniture or something though. Thanks. [ Reply | More ]

Ask about furniture, new "family", and get the fimo - it is great stuff and she can make all kinds of things with it. [ Reply | More ]
