DH doesn't want to use a condom 1 month following stopping BC pill. I'm worried of miscarriage. Am I just worrying too much? [ Reply | Watch | Flag ]

He can't use a condom for a month? I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind waiting a period of time after stopping the pill before TTC, but I have heard numerous people say it so I assume there's a reason. And if that's the case, he should either strap on the seat belt or plan to stay off the ride for a month. [ Reply | More

My OB says that the chances for miscarriage are higher for those who haven't waited one month after stopping BC pill. Also, he says it's difficult to track due date w/o last day of period. [ Reply | More

my ob told me to go ahead and try the first month. They can always date the baby with an u/s. I know 3 people who got pregnant the first month and had perfectly fine babies. [ Reply | More
